Kerala police on Sunday registered a case against a senior doctor of the General Hospital here who was accused of making unwarranted sexual advances towards a junior doctor by forcibly hugging and kissing her in his private consultation room four years ago.

The half-burnt body of a woman was found inside a tin box here on Saturday evening, police said.

In an incident reported on Sunday morning, a group of five individuals attacked the Manjeshwar Police station Sub-Inspector and other police personnel here at Hidayath Nagar, Uppala. 

The Congress is set to hold yatras at the district level to commemorate the Kanyakumari-to-Kashmir Bharat Jodo Yatra, which was launched on September 7 last year, sources said on Sunday.
