The Congress on Wednesday demanded a high-level probe into the Bilaspur train accident and compensation of Rs 1 crore to the kin of each of those who lost their lives in the tragedy.

A 50-year-old truck driver died after his vehicle toppled and crashed into a pit on the Chennai-Bengaluru Highway (NH 48) near Vannivedu hamlet in Walajah, Ranipet district, on Tuesday.
