Fact Check: How self-proclaimed Hindu rights activist is spreading false claims on Udupi incident

Udupi: On Monday, July 4, Rashmi Samant, a self-proclaimed Hindu Rights Activist, took to her Twitter account and made several misleading and false claims about the Udupi incident, where three students of a paramedical college allegedly filmed a fellow student in the restroom as part of a prank video and later deleted it.

 


Heavy Rains: Udupi, Kodagu DC’s extend holiday for schools and PU colleges till July 26

Udupi: In light of the continuous heavy rainfall and the red alert forecast issued by the Meteorological Department, Dr. K. Vidyakumari, the Deputy Commissioner of Udupi and Venkat Raja Deputy Commissioner of Kodagu district as a precautionary step, ordered the closure of all Anganwadi centers, primary schools, high schools, and pre-university colleges in both the districts on Wednesday July 26.
