The district on Sunday reported Two deaths due to COVID-19. It also reported 117 new cases of coronavirus taking the total number of cases in the district to 10,133.

Udupi: District Crime Information Bureau (DCIB) police on Saturday arrested two people who were reportedly selling Ganja drugs in a container truck. The police team has also seized 49 kg of Ganja drugs from the arrested accused.
