Mangaluru: Customs officials at the Mangaluru International Airport have seized 736 grams of gold worth Rs 37.17 lakh from a passenger who arrived from Bahrain.

In an incident that reportedly occurred in the early hours of Wednesday, a private bus travelling from Bengaluru to Mangaluru rolled over beside the road at Neerakatte in Uppinangady. 

The body of a man from Punjab who had been buried at the Beedinagudde burial grounds 1.5 years ago was reportedly exhumed for further investigation under the direction of the Punjab police on Saturday.
