New Delhi: The International Press Institute (IPI) on Wednesday announced Indian independent media outlet The Wire as the winnder of the 2021 Free Media Pioneer Award. The institute described The Wire as “a leader in India’s digital news revolution and an unflinching defender of independent, high-quality journalism”.
