Miscreants attack two private buses in Bantwal

Bantwal: Miscreants on Tuesday morning hurled stones at two private buses at two different parts of the Taluk here. The incidents were reported from Sorikumeru and Kudrebettu of Bantwal Taluk which falls under Vitla Police Station and Bantwal Police Station limits respectively.

 


Proposal to give Rs 1 cr to academies, including Beary Academy: Minister Khader

Mangaluru: Urban Development Minister UT Khader said that he has submitted a proposal to the Kannada and Culture department minister to increase the grants from existing Rs 70 lakh to Rs 1 crore to all academies, including the Beary Academy and it could be announced in the next budget.
