Due to the increase in Milk production in Dakshina Kannada Co-operative Milk Producers Union, the Union has decided to extend the benefit to the Nandini consumers by giving them a free 180ML packet of Nandini Trupti milk with the purchase of every Nandini Milk packet (500ML, 1L, 6L) in Udupi and Dakshina Kannada districts on July 12.  

Kasargod: A group of robbers who entered the house by breaking window glasses and splashed chilli powder at household, made away with ten pawns gold ornaments on Wednesday morning at Nellikatte Chorittadka in limits of Badiyadka police station.

Five persons died and 12 others including children sustained severe injuries when a lorry collided the jeep in which they were travelling at Nayabazar near Uppala on National Highway 66 in the taluk on Monday. Last rites of former higher education minister Bajpe Abdul Khader Mohidin (B.A Mohidin) was held at Bajpe Eidgah Juma masjid on Tuesday, July 10 with all government respect.

Bajpe Abdul Khadar Mohidin (BA Mohidin) born in a most economically backward family in Pejawar, a village near Bajpe on June 5, 1938. He grew up as an ordinary man and became famous through his hard work. 

The mortal remaining of former minister B.A.Mohidin reached his house in Bajpe at 4.50pm.
