Moodbidre: A 36-year-old woman died on Friday night after she was struck by lightning in the limits of Nellikaru Grama Panchayat.

A youth belonging to Kerala was held on charges of trying to go abroad using fake passport through Mangaluru airport here on Friday. Heavy rains wreak havoc in Udupi district

One person was killed and another injured in the lightning, while standing crops in Byndoor, Kundapura, Brahmavar and Udupi taluks were damaged.
