Mangaluru: Vipul Kumar, a 1999-batch IPS officer, on Wednesday took charge as the new Mangaluru Police Commissioner. He replaced incumbent T.R. Suresh. These two officers were among a few officers transferred by the State Government following directions of the Election Commission.
