Siddaramaiah, DKShi, others detained while demanding Eshwarappa's suspension from state cabinet

Bengaluru: Senior Congress leaders including former Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah and KPCC Chief DK Shivakumar were on Thursday detained by police in Bengaluru while they were holding a demonstration demanding suspension of Eshwarappa from state’s cabinet of ministers.

 


No action against Minister Eshwarappa until preliminary inquiry is completed: CM Bommai

Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Thursday ruled out any action against Rural Development and Panchayat Raj (RDPR) Minister K S Eshwarappa, against whom police have booked a case for abetting the suicide of contractor Santosh Patil, until preliminary inquiry is completed.
