Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Friday visited the flood-hit Kodagu district and assured the people of Indian Army's help in rebuilding the devastated region's roads.
In a bid to contribute the Kodagu victims’ relief fund, prisoners in the Parappana Agrahara Central Prison have quit meat and sent a letter to the prison officer.
The students of the Kodagu district, who have lost their documents due to the rain-flood, should not have to worry; said the Karnataka Board of the Pre-University Education.
