Landsliding on Kudremukh-Mangaluru highway: Vehicular movement affected

Following heavy rains in Mudigere taluk limits, landslides occurred in four places on Kudremukh- Mangaluru national highway leaving the road completely covered in the mud on Sunday. As a result, the vehicular movement was suspended from morning to evening on the road.


PM Modi speaks to CM on Kodagu situation

4,225 people rescued in flood-hit Kodagu amid rains

A total of 4,225 marooned people have been rescued so far in Karnataka's flood-hit Kodagu district even as incessant rains continued to hamper relief work, said an official on Sunday.
