Close on the heels of BJP state president BS Yeddyurappa’s statement that the party doors are open for the Congress-JDS dissident MLAs if they are willing to come, BJP Raichur urban MLA Shivaraj Patil called on disgruntled Congress MLA and former minister MB Patil at the latter’s house here on Sunday, creating curiosity for the further development.

The Jayanagar assembly constituency, which created a tough competition between the Congress-JDS coalition government and the BJP, will go for voting on June 11. The Election Commission has made all preparations to conduct voting from 7 am to 6 pm.
