Poll code: ‘Banks should not sanction new loans’

Mangaluru: District Central Cooperative banks and primary agriculture credit cooperative socieities should not sanction and disburse new loans for farming purpose at reduced rate of interest till the model code of conduct is in force for the May 12 Assembly elections, an official release said.
