Assembly poll: 55% turn out in Jayanagar constituency

The election of the Jayanagar Assembly constituency which was postponed due to the death of BJP candidate Vijay Kumar, was held on Monday with tight police security. Total 55 per cent voters turned out to the polling stations in the capital city. Counting of votes would be held on June 13.


I won’t beg minister post: Horatti

55% polling in Bengaluru's Jayanagar Assembly seat

Around 55 per cent voting was recorded on Monday in Bengaluru's Jayanagar Assembly constituency where polling had been countermanded during the May 12 assembly elections due to a candidate's death, an election official said.
