KSRTC launches new weekend package tour covering Srirangapatna, Kallahalli, Melukote

Bengaluru: The Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has announced the introduction of a new weekend package tour service from Bengaluru to Srirangapatna, Kallahalli, and Melukote, aimed at promoting regional tourism. The service will be operational from May 31, 2025, and will run exclusively on Saturdays and Sundays.

 


Koppal Police seize 1.8 Kg of hydro Ganja worth Rs 18 Lakh; Eight arrested

Koppal, May 28: In a major crackdown on drug trafficking, the Koppal district police have seized 1.8 kg of hydro ganja being illegally transported for sale in Gangavathi. Eight persons have been arrested in connection with the case, Koppal Superintendent of Police Ram.L. Arshiddi announced on Wednesday.
