Shivamogga Rural Police have filed a suo motu case against Sangh Parivar leader Arun Kumar Puthila for making a provocative statement at Ragigudda, in direct violation of the prohibitory orders enforced by the police in the town.

In a twist of events, The Principal Secretary to the Government (Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms), Munish Maudgil on Friday in an letter to all Government Secretaries directed the immediate withdrawal of the order directing to provide information pertaining to RTI applicants seeking large amount of information during the quarter period.
