Former Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai has warned that the popularity of the ruling Congress government in the state will not last long.
While addressing the media after conducting the bhoomi pujan for the new high school building in Chhabbi village, Hubballi, on Sunday, he expressed his opinion, stating that the Congress government should have made alternative arrangements regarding the rice issue. He further remarked that the Congress is now claiming they have not received rice, indicating that they have stood back on their guarantee. He emphasised the need for the government to prioritise the welfare of the underprivileged.
