Mysuru: Activists of BJP and Pro-Hindutva group Hindu Jagarana Vedike on Thursday assaulted and manhandled a journalist of an Urdu daily at a protest called by Hindu Jagaran Vedike.

Chamrajanagar: In a heart-wrenching incident that occurred on Wednesday, a three-year-old girl child passed away due to accidental electrocution on her birthday at Kengaki village in Chamrajanagar Taluk.

Anekal: In a horrendous accident that occurred during the early hours of Thursday, an Ambulance and a lorry reportedly crashed into each other, resulting in three deaths on the spot, including the death of a doctor, patient, and the co-driver of the ambulance near Attebele on National Highway 7 at Anekal Taluk. Four others have sustained serious injuries, it is learned.
