MHA grants Z+ security cover to former Karnataka Chief Minister Yediyurappa

New Delhi: The Union Home Ministry on Thursday accorded 'Z' plus security cover, which will comprise of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel for senior BJP leader and former Karnataka Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa.

Bengaluru: In a fresh development in the Tiger claw locket case, The second Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate (ACJM) court, which heard the bail plea application of Bigg Boss Kannada season 10 contestant Varthur Santhosh, following his arrest on Sunday, has reserved its decision for Friday, October 27.

Rural development department issues order suspending 27 engineers

Bengaluru: The Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department took action on Thursday by issuing separate suspension orders for 27 Assistant Executive Engineers, Assistant Engineers, and Junior Engineers working within the department. These suspensions were made in response to the officers' dereliction of duty as they failed to report to their newly assigned transfer posts.

BJP ticket fraud case: Complaint filed before ED to investigate case under PMLA act

Bengaluru: In a latest development concerning the Chaitra ticket fraud case that has garnered significant attention in the state, S. Manohar KPCC general Secretary on Wednesday complained to the Enforcement Directorate (ED) urging it to register a case under the PMLA act (Prevention of Money Laundering Act) and to initiate an investigation into the case involving alleged fund transfer in exchange for a BJP ticket.
