Karnataka Home Minister Dr. G Parameshwara has announced the government's plan to establish an "anti-communal wing" within the jurisdiction of the Mangaluru Commissionerate to curb immoral policing activities. 

 In response to allegations of irregularities in the recruitment examination for the positions of Assistant Public Prosecutor and Assistant Public Advocate, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has taken action by ordering a comprehensive investigation into the matter. The Chief Minister has directed the authorities to submit a detailed report on the issue within a period of 10 days.
