Why US' political developments must caution India

Many political scientists argue that the incidents that occurred in Washington DC on January 7, 2021, was a blot on the world’s most powerful democracy, the United States of America. Being a democratic country but at the same time, joining hands either overtly or covertly with the world’s most dictatorial states and trying to wield power over other developing and democratic countries,  the US had to witness an incident such as this someday or the other. This is an extension of its interference with other sovereign countries in the garb of democracy.

 


BJP needs to embrace Savarkar’s views on Cow Slaughter

“In today’s scientific world, it is foolish to consider cow as a Goddess. It is appropriate to provide a financial and scientific basis for cow protection instead of a religious basis. The ‘gau bhaktha’ who portrays that cows and buffalos are Gods should be stopped and tied to a yolk and made to work in the service of the nation.” These were the words of Vinayak Damodar Savarkar, Sangh Parivar’s father figure. He wrote in ‘Maharashtra Sharadha’ (April 1935), about cows in a way that is a slap in the face of fake cow protectors. The elders have a share in everything that we are experiencing today. It is our duty to carry forward to our children the legacy of our elders. Docs, health activists’ body slams Gujarat govt. for differentiating Covid patients on faith basis

New Delhi: Condemning   Ahmadabad government hospital’s segregation of coronavirus patients on the faith basis in the strongest possible terms, Progressive Medicos and Scientists Forum (PMSF), a pan-India body of prominent doctors and health activists, on Wednesday demanded unqualified apology from the   Gujarat Chief Minister Gujarat Vijay Rupani and dismissal of his deputy and the state health minister. The doctors’ organization said by this discriminatory action the state BJP government has sent a clear message to the management, doctors and other hospitals to follow the suit which has dangerous consequences.

 

Coronavirus: Are Muslims intentionally licking cutlery, plates for Hindus to eat in it? Fact check

In the wake of spread of Corona Virus in India, a video is being circulated on social media alleging that a few Muslims infected with the deadly virus are licking plates and cutlery with an intention to make non-Muslims eat in it to firther spread the virus among the non-Muslims. Fact Crescendo, a fact-checking website had earlier fact-checked the claim of the video when it was being circulate adding that Muslims were licking plates and cutlery to Hindus to eat in it on Eid.
