Jharkhand man assaulted in Kavoor, called Bangladeshi: Police arrest three men

Kavoor Police on Monday arrested three men from Koolur in the taluk charged with verbal and physical assault as well as attempt to murder of a Jharkhand-based man, under the assumption that the victim was a Bangladeshi citizen.


Migrant labourer assaulted in Mangaluru after being suspected as Bangladeshi

 A migrant labourer from Jharkhand was allegedly assaulted by four men in the Mangaluru commissionerate limits after they suspected him of being a Bangladeshi national and demanded identity documents, Commissioner of Police Sudheer Kumar Reddy C H said.
