The Karnataka High Court issued notice to the state government on Tuesday in connection with a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) asking for a reinstallation of the bronze statue of warrior-seer Parashurama in the theme park in Karkala, Udupi district.

Kuloor: Woman dies after falling off bike due to pothole, crushed under lorry

A tragic accident claimed the life of a woman on Tuesday morning near Royal Oak at Kuloor on the outskirts of the city. The mishap occurred when a two-wheeler lost control after hitting a pothole on the national highway, causing the rider to fall onto the road and come under the wheels of a lorry.

Dharmasthala case: Six appear before SIT for questioning
