On request of the school headmaster, the workers of the Moodabidri zonal SKSSF removed the tiles, reaps and other materials of the two classrooms of Bangabettu DK Zilla Panchayat Higher Primary School which are in dilapidated condition, near Mijaru on Monday.

 Bhatkal: The 18 fishermen from several parts of Uttar Kannada district, who have been arrested by the Iranian officials for last four months after they allegedly strayed into Iranian waters, have once again urged through a video to the External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj to get them released.

Belthangady: The dead body of a young man was found in suspicious circumstances near Alake Road in Ujire village in Belthangady taluk on Sunday morning.
