A 24-year-old man named Safwan was found dead by hanging near Urumane under the Konaje police station. The incident occurred while Safwan was alone at home on Sunday evening while his family members were attending an Iftar party.

In a recent incident, a Duster car belonging to Sharath Shetty, a resident of Elinje's Kollettu, was completely destroyed after catching fire on the Bantwala-Moodbidire road in Kudkoli.
