In a concerning development, Mangaluru International Airport has been targeted by a bomb threat, as reported today. The threat, purportedly originating from a terrorist organisation, was communicated via email resulting in immediate action from the authorities.

In a devastating incident, a young man lost his life after being struck by lightning in Subrahmanya, located in Kadaba taluk. The victim, identified as Somasundar, aged 34 and a resident of Parvatmukhi in Subrahmanya village, was tragically killed during Friday evening's thunderstorm.
