Court rejects parole petition of Nejaru murder accused

Udupi: The Udupi Judicial First Class Magistrate Court has rejected the parole petition submitted by Praveen Chowgule, the accused in the murder of four persons of a family at Nejaru in Udupi.

 


Mangaluru: Police destroy seized drugs worth Rs 65 lakh

Mangaluru: As many as 220 kg of cannabis and 200 gm of MDMA drugs, valued at Rs 65 lakh, seized in Dakshina Kannada district of Karnataka during the last one year were destroyed by the narcotic disposal committee on Friday.
