Man undergoes life-saving treatment to cure a rare case of myasthenia gravis due to COVID pneumonia

Mangalore, 23 Sept 2021: KMC Hospital, Mangalore, has successfully treated a 54-year male who was admitted to the hospital due to severe breathlessness. He was diagnosed with COVID at a hospital in Honnavar. Despite all efforts by the doctors, his condition was not improving, and with worsening symptoms, he was referred to KMC Hospital, Mangalore, for advanced care. He was attended by Dr Haroon H, Consultant - Internal Medicine, Dr Dattatraya Prabhu, Intensivist, and the critical care team, who together initiated necessary supportive measures for the patient.
