A man from Tamil Nadu has been arrested for allegedly making a bomb threat call to Mangaluru International Airport, police said on Sunday. 

Three persons drowned and another was hospitalised after being pulled into the Arabian Sea by strong currents at Gopadi Beach near Kundapur on Sunday, police said.

Two men were arrested for allegedly trying to run over policemen who tried to stop them near the Hejamadi toll plaza, police said on Saturday.

Chinnayya, the complainant and key witness who had earlier claimed that several bodies were buried in Dharmasthala, has been remanded to 14 days of judicial custody.

The Bantwal Rural Police have registered a case against a man identified as Narasimha Shetty Mani for allegedly spreading false information and attempting to disturb communal harmony through a provocative video.

A case has been registered against BJP leader and president of the management committee of Rattadi Shriratteshwara Temple, Naveen Chandra Shetty Rattadi, on charges of sexually harassing a woman representative of the Dharmasthala Self-Help Group. The complaint was lodged at Amasebailu Police Station.
