Holiday declared for schools and colleges due to heavy rainfall in Dakshina Kannada

Mangaluru: In the wake of heavy rain in the region, Dakshina Kannada Deputy Commissioner Sindhu Rupesh declared holiday to all schools and colleges in the District on Saturday.

 


Heavy rain: Schools, Colleges to remain closed for Saturday in Udupi and Uttara Kannada Districts

Udupi/Karwar: Udupi Deputy Commissioner, G Jagadeesh on Friday evening declared holidays to all colleges and schools in the District for Saturday October 26 owing to heavy rain that is expected to continue on Friday due to which the three coastal Districts of Karnataka have been put on red-alert by the authorities.
