Eid-ul-Adha (Bakrid) was on Monday celebrated with great religious fervor in Dakshina Kannada District including Mangaluru city, Bantwal, Moodbidri, Belthangadi, Puttur and others.
Mangaluru: District Administration on Sunday afternoon opened the Shiradi Ghat for traffic till 6.pm in the evening. The Ghat was earlier closed till August 12 midnight due to several incidents of landslides and tree falls that were reported due to heavy rain in the region.
