Mangaluru: Congress Minority Unit to hold meeting on May 29; mass resignation move likely

The Dakshina Kannada District Congress Minority Unit has called for an urgent meeting on May 29 at 2:30 pm at the Bolara Shadi Mahal auditorium in Mangaluru to discuss the growing concern over rising incidents of violence against Muslims in the region.


Bantwal Rahiman murder case: FIR filed against Deepak, Sumit, 13 Others

A case has been registered against 15 individuals, including Deepak and Sumit, in connection with the murder of Abdul Rahiman (32), secretary of Koltmajalu Juma Masjid and a pickup driver, and the attempted murder of Kalandar Shafi. The incident took place near Ira Kodi in Kuriyal village of Bantwal taluk.
