Mangaluru: Mangalore University has landed in controversy over alleged misuse of Rs 7 crore sanctioned under the Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (RUSA-1) for constructing boys' and girls' hostels.

 


Sharif Murder Case: School bus driver arrested for murder

Manjeshwara, April 14: The Kasaragod police on Monday arrested a 40-year-old man in connection with the murder of an auto rickshaw driver whose body was found in an abandoned well in Kunjattur Padavu. The accused has been identified as Abhishek Shetty, a resident of Surathkal and a school bus driver at a private school in Mangaluru.
