Mangaluru: Four arrested for selling ganja

The police have arrested four men who were allegedly selling cannabis near Urwa Marigudi in the city on Sunday.

The arrested have been identified as Mahesh alias Macha (24), a resident of CPC Compound near Modern Rice Mill; Ritesh alias Ritu (20), a resident of Bokkapatna Road; Sudarshan M (24), a resident of Urwa Longlane area. Ashok Nagar PK compound’s Ritesh (21).


Cheating case against Chennai-based Tirupura Chits Private Limited

A cheating case filed against Chennai-based Tirupur Chits Private Limited that the company has swindled the money of Rs 9 crore collected from over 200 customers of the district came to light now. A customer Arafat from Mangaluru lodged a complaint at Economic and Narcotics Crime Police station against the company. Amidst this, a number of customers who suffered from this issue, held a meeting in the city on Sunday and discussed it.
