Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday congratulated Congress leaders Siddaramaiah and D K Shivakumar, who were sworn in as Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka, respectively.

Bengaluru: The Karnataka Examination Authority on Friday asked students appearing for the CET-23 in the city on May 20 to reach their centres two hours ahead of the scheduled time, in view of the swearing-in ceremony of the new chief minister of the state.

Chief Minister-designate Siddaramaiah and his deputy D K Shivakumar left for New Delhi on Friday to discuss with the party's high command regarding the Ministers to be inducted into the new Karnataka cabinet and allocation of portfolios.
