The world renowned 10-day long Mysuru Dasara festivities came to an end Friday with a colourful procession here.

Rajmata Pramoda Devi Wadiyar's mother Puttachinnammanni passed away at a hospital in Mysuru. She was 98.

Puttachinnammanni was suffering from age-related ailments for several days. Following which, she was admitted into a hospital in Mysuru. She stopped responding to treatment and breathed her last on Friday morning.
