A woman committed suicide by hanging herself leaving a death note saying that she has taken the extreme step due to the mental torture from a JDS leader, at Bommanakatte layout in the city recently and the incident came to light very late.
A couple died on the spot when a gas cylinder exploded in a house in Vijayanagar police station limits on Wednesday. The deceased have been identified as Shivanna (50) and Mandamma (42) of Panchasheela Nagar in Vijayanagar.
