As many as 17 students and a Physical Education teacher fell ill after drinking milk at a school in Niluvagilu village in the taluk on Saturday.

The Assam police on Saturday unearthed a case in which Assam-based workers murdered and buried an Assamese man, who had come to work along with them at a coffee estate here. The accused allegedly went to Assam after committing the crime.
