Mohammed Nalapad gets conditional bail by High Court

Bengaluru: Mohammed Nalapad, who was arrested for assaulting 24-year-old Vidvat in an uptown Farzi café in the city on February 17, has been granted conditional bail by the High Court after spending 116 days in Parappana Agrahara jail.


Father-daughter create history, enter Assembly together

For the first time in the history of Karnataka politics, father and daughter together entered the Assembly. With the election of Soumya Reddy, daughter of former minister and MLA Ramalinga Reddy, from Jayanagar Assembly constituency, the election for which was held on June 8, both Soumya and her father Ramalinga Reddy entered the 15 Assembly together.
