Income Tax officials held raids in relation to income tax violation on Thursday and held an investigation at the houses and offices of gold jewelers in more than 10 places of Bengaluru city.

Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar on Thursday said Karnataka will appeal against the direction of Cauvery Water Regulation Committee (CWRC) once again recommending the state to release river water to neighbouring Tamil Nadu.
