Two people traveling in a car were killed on the spot while four others, including children, were injured in an accident near Kempegowdanadoddi on the Bengaluru-Mysuru Expressway on Saturday morning, as their car collided with a truck during an attempt to overtake the truck.

The Income Tax officials on Friday continued the raid in the city in relation to tax evasion as they are learned to have confiscated Rs 42 crore from a Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) contractor's daughter whose house they raided on Thursday night.
