Rural development department issues order suspending 27 engineers

Bengaluru: The Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department took action on Thursday by issuing separate suspension orders for 27 Assistant Executive Engineers, Assistant Engineers, and Junior Engineers working within the department. These suspensions were made in response to the officers' dereliction of duty as they failed to report to their newly assigned transfer posts. 


Karnataka govt mulling over one-time clemency to Wildlife Act violators

Bengaluru (PTI): The Karnataka government is mulling providing clemency for the one last time to those who are in possession of wildlife products such as pelts, tooth, claws and various other artefacts, Forest Minister Eshwar Khandre said on Thursday.
