Government officer caught driving drunk by locals in Sullia

In an incident reported on Monday night, a government officer, identified as Naveen Kumar, who serves as the secretary of the Agriculture Produce Marketing Committee (APMC) in Sullia, faced public criticism for driving erratically and dangerously on the national highway near Arambur in the taluk.


Kolar: Body of child exhumed from burial ground in Srinivaspur; police complaint filed

The parents of a woman from Hebbatta village of the taluk, who recently killed her child and committed suicide, have filed a complaint with the Srinivaspur Police officers, as the body of the child was exhumed from the burial ground on the outskirts of the village, giving rise to suspicion of indulgence in sorcery.
