Iran clarifies missile strike not aimed at ‘brotherly’ Qatar

Following its missile strike on the Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar, Iran’s Supreme National Security Council issued a statement on Monday clarifying that the action was not aimed at the Qatari state or its people.

Doha/Tehran: Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has officially confirmed that it launched a missile strike targeting the United States’ Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar. The operation, named “Annunciation of Victory,” also reportedly includes strikes on US military installations in Iraq.
