US facing serious shortage of airline pilots

The US is currently facing a serious shortage of airline pilots, particularly at the regional airline levels, according to a report.

The Federal Aviation Administration said in the report on Monday that there were about 827,000 pilots in America in 1987. Over the past three decades, that number decreased by 30 per cent, reports CNN.


IMF cuts India's growth projection, but it still retains world's top spot

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) cut India's growth projections for this fiscal year to 7.3 per cent and for the next to 7.5 per cent on Monday, although the country will still retain its top spot in the global growth league.
