The vice-chancellor and registrar of the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya University in Gorakhpur, the home turf of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, were attacked by members of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) activists on Friday evening, allegedly over irregularities in the university.
