Ullal: Families in Kallapu of Ullal taluk are facing safety concerns after a well located by the road connecting Kerebail to Sevanthigudda near Kallapu collapsed on Thursday. The collapse followed heavy showers in the region over the past few days.

Mangaluru: A tragic incident occurred on Wednesday at a construction site in Balmatta, Mangaluru, where one of the two labourers trapped under a landslide succumbed before rescue teams could reach him.

Two labourers were trapped under mud following a landslide during a building construction near Balmatta road. The landslide occurred while construction work was underway, burying the workers beneath the soil.
