Bearys Group to inaugurate Pre-University College in Mangalore on June 1, 2024

Mangalore, May 30th, 2024 - The Bearys Group of Institutions, a prominent institution in Dakshina Kannada district known for its long-standing commitment to quality, personality, and integrity, is set to inaugurate the Bearys Integrated Pre-University College on June 1st, 2024. The inauguration ceremony will be held at the Bearys Knowledge Campus, located near Mangalore University.

Mani: Car hits barricade on national highway

In a recent incident along the national highway near Surikumeru Junction, a car collided with an iron barricade erected by a construction company working on the four-lane expansion project. The collision resulted in the total destruction of the vehicle. Details regarding injuries sustained in the accident remain undisclosed at present.

 

Sharath Shetty murder case: Accused Yogish Acharya surrenders

Kaup: Yogish Acharya (36) of Katpadi, who is the primary accused in the murder of realtor Sharath Shetty (39) from Pangala, has surrendered before the Udupi court. The accused has been absconding for the last one year, the Kaup Police have taken him into police custody and are further investigating the matter.

 

Fishing trawlers to stay away from sea: K’taka government issues directive

Bengaluru: In preparations for the upcoming monsoon, the Karnataka Government has imposed a ban on all types of fishing trawlers or mechanised boats and conventional boats which are equipped with inboard or outboard engines exceeding 10 horsepower (HP). This ban will be in effect from June 1 to July 31, lasting a total of 61 days along the Karnataka coast. The directive was issued on Tuesday.
