The Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) Mangaluru Division has introduced special Dasara package tours to promote temple tourism during the Navratri festival. These packages, which will run from October 3 to October 12, are designed to provide devotees and tourists with an opportunity to visit important temples and scenic spots across Karnataka's coastal and neighboring districts. 

The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) has announced plans to hold a "Dharmagraha Sabhe" at the Dongarakery Venkatramana Temple in Mangaluru on September 30. Mangaluru: Mangaluru police have arrested a 50-year-old man from Kozhikode, Kerala, in connection with the murder of a 39-year-old man near Panambur Beach in Mangaluru. The accused, identified as Dharmaraj Suvarna, a resident of Thotabengre in Mangaluru, was arrested on Thursday night by a team of officers from the Panambur Police Station.

Mangaluru: The Health Department has temporarily closed the Flaunt Cosmetic Surgery and Hair Transplant Clinic at Bendoorwell, Kankanady, following the death of a young man during a cosmetic procedure. The closure was ordered by D.K. District Health and Family Welfare Officer, Dr. H.R. Thimmaiah, on the directives of District Collector Mullai Mugilan.
